GENERAL SERVICE AGREEMENT This User Agreement is a legally binding agreement between you and U.S.Event Guide, LLC. If you do not agree to the Terms, do not access, browse or use the Web site. Section 1. Services 1.01 Company is a referral service that matches requests from potential customers ("Clients") with individuals and entities that offer products or services via the Services ("Contractor") that may be able to meet Clients’ needs. Client is aware and understands that Contractor is not an employee of Company but is an independent contractor; therefore Company does not warrant the performance of his/her service. Section 2. Privacy 2.01 PRIVACY. We do not resell your information to any third party marketers. Our Company knows how important your privacy is to you, and we appreciate you trusting us to handle your personal information responsibly and with integrity. The information we gather is used to provide you with a good experience and to help us improve our service for you. 2.02 Our Commitment. Company is committed to protecting the privacy of our buyers and businesses. Since we collect certain types of information at the time our service is used, we have created this policy to let our users know what information we collect, how the collected information is used to benefit our users, and how we protect the information that is provided to us. Rest assured, the privacy of our buyers and businesses is of utmost importance to us, and Company will make every effort to ensure that our users are effectively informed and protected. 2.03 Client’s Protection. In order to submit a request to our community of businesses, buyers are usually required to provide us with an email address, as our service is email-based. The email address allows us to deliver business responses to the buyer online. Buyers' email addresses are never disclosed to third parties without consent. In certain categories, we may require a ZIP Code to process a request for the purpose of geographically matching buyers with businesses. In some cases, businesses don't use email and may need another means of contact, such as a phone or fax number. In such cases, we will ask for this additional information, and businesses may then contact the buyer directly. Note: Businesses may not contact the buyer for any reason other than to address the information or assistance specifically requested in the buyer request. 2.04 In addition to providing limited information provided by buyers to businesses as described above, Company protects the contact information you provide to us internally. Only authorized employees and subcontractors will have access to the information provided to us in requests. If buyers use our service through one of Company's partner sites, we will share the request information submitted through that site with our partners as necessary to fulfill requests. Section 3. Indemnity 3:01 Client shall indemnify and hold harmless, Company and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, shareholders, agents and employees free, clear and harmless, from and against any and all losses, liabilities, costs, expenses (including amounts paid in settlements and reasonable attorney's fees), claims, penalties, judgments and damages, resulting from or arising out of, by reason of any act, omission or negligence of the client or its representative agents, employees or Clients in any way connected with or arising out of any accident, injury or damage-and these can include and be detailed-any breach of representation, injury to person or property, any activity conducted or action taken by the wedding and event planning company, directly or indirectly, in conjunction with the agreement. Although Planner will work with professionals/vendors that Client chose for various aspects of their event, Client will not hold Planner liable for any errors, acts or omissions on the part of the professionals/vendors or their parties.
